The first decorated the prayers and biblical texts at the beginning of vol.1 (fols 1-55), while the second decorated the rest of the manuscript. 2 fully ,arcaded pages (vol.X, fol. 62; vol.11, fol.68v) illustrating the text. 9 tinted ,pen-drawn ,text illustrations in the margins and next to some ,initial words (vol.1, fols 42v, 77v, 90; vol.11, fols 5, 12v, 30, 54v, 113, 163v, the latter a later addition, related to an added text of the 14th century) . Most of the main initial words are written in ink in large letters and decorated with pen ,flourishes surrounding the letters, with additional red fillings (e.g. vol.1, fols 56v, 62, 71, 77v, 83v, 90, 98v, 107v, 125, 133v, 152v, 165, 186v; on the last 3 of these and on fol. 62 the red fillings were not completed; vol.11, fols 3, 13, 28v, 54v, 56v, 68v, 113, 144v, 158, 167v, 174, 189, 198v, the red fillings on the last 5 not completed). Two sets of pen-drawn ,medallions prepared for the signs of the 0zodiac to illustrate Kaliri's piyut for dew (vol.1, fols 118-119v) and rain (vol.11, fols 193v-196) . The signs were not executed. In the second volume there are some ,rosettes (e.g. fols 2v, 13v) , ,dragons (e.g. fols 31v, 68v, 120v) and some geometrical and ,floral decorations for the blowing of the shofar (e.g. fols 12v, 21v, 24v, 41v, 48). Marginal floral decorations for many piyutim in both volumes.
