PRAENORICA Folia historico-naturalia, Ш (1996) sus absinthü KUTSCHERA, 1862; Mantura chrysanthemi (KOCH, 1813); Asiorestia impressa (FABRICIUS, 1801); Psylliodes reitteri WEISE, 1888; Cassida atrata FABRICIUS, 1787; Cassida berolinensis SUFFRIAN, 1844; Cassida canaliculata LAICHARTING, 1781; Cassida fastuosa SCHALLER, 1783; Cassida ferruginea GOEZE, 1777. Among the species listed above the occurrence of Cryptocephalus trimaculatus Rossi, 1790; Timarcha pratensis (DUFTSCHMIDT, 1825); Timarcha tenebricosa (FABRICIUS, 1775); Chrysolina marcasitica (GERMAR, 1824); Gonioctena quinquepunctata (FABRICIUS, 1781) is doubtful in the region. In spite of the fact that one specimen of Haemonia mutica balatonica SZÉKESS Y, 1941 is preserved in the collection of the Hungarian Natural History Museum (location: Vas county; coll.: SÖTZELMANN) its occurrence is also doubtful. The subspecies described by Vilmos SZÉKESSY probably occurs in the lake Balaton only. The following species have been put on the list as a result of false location or misidentification, thus they are to be canceled from the enumeratio: Ctyptocephalus pygmaeus FABRICIUS, 1792; Cryptocephalus rufipes (GOEZE, 1777); Chrysolina geminata (PAYKULL, 1799); Oreina cacaliae (SCHRANK, 1785); Oreina cacaliae senecionis (SCHUMMEL, 1873); Exosoma lusitanica (LINNAEUS, 1767); Asiorestia impressa (FABRICIUS, 1801). ZUSAMMENFASSUNG GRUNDRIß DER BLATTKÄFERFAUNE DES RANDGEBIETES VON WESTUNGARNS (Coleoptera: Chrysomelidae sensu lato) Der Autor bearbeitet in dieser Studie die Blattkäferfaune des Randgebietes von Westungarn (Coloeptera: Chrysomelidae sensu lato). Die Anzahl der auf dem Gebiet dargestellten bzw. aufgrund der Literaturangaben vorkommenden Arten macht 352 aus. Obwohl das Randgebiet von Westungarn keine selbständige Region ist - da es die Zusammenfassung der einzelnen geologischen Mittelregionen ist -, und auch die Richtigkeit der Bezeichnung kann in Frage gestellt werden, scheint es von Hinsicht unserer Arbeit für die glücklichste Bezeichnung. Vom Gebiet werden das Soproner- (Soproni-hegység) und Kőszeger-Gebirge (Kőszegi-hegység) mit dem Vas-Berg (Vas-hegy) und Hügelland neben dem Neusiedler-See (Fertő-mellékidombság), das kiesige Hügelland jenseits dem Fluß Raab (Rábántúli kavicstakarós síkság), das Vasi- und Kemenes- sowie Hügelland (Vasi-Hegyhát, Kemeneshát) von 173
