In order to define the monument's stratigraphy, the areas on the territory of the main building (pits 1, 3-4) and out of its limits (pits 2, 5) of the total size of 58 sq. m. have been studied during 2007 and 2011 field seasons. The layer output was from 1.5 to 5 meters wide. Significant collection of the findings has been gathered during the works, in particular thousands of fragments of ceramic vessels, including imported (graphitic - Austrian, Lostice - Moravian) tiles and the goods made of leather, bone, glass and metal (household items, weapons, coins). Analysis of the inventory, first of all of chronological indicators (Polish and Hungarian coins, Jesuit medallion depicting saints Ignatius of Loyola and Francis Xavier etc.), made it possible to draw the following stratigraphic picture. The stone-made walls have been raised not later than the beginning of 16 T H century. The castle was sufficiently re-built in the first half of 16 , h century and has been actively functioning at least till the mid-17 T H century when it was destroyed. In order to define the castle's ground plan, expedition switched from test pits works in the tract to the systematic study of the monument's area in 2012. 249
