Szapu Magda: Gyermekjátékok (Válogatás Együd Árpád néprajzi gyűjtéseiből 3. Kaposvár, 1996)

RESUME

Children folklore is liable to permanent changes, the role of traditional singingdancing girls' games is decreasing, with a replacement of school or foreign origin games. The traditional, pastoral, sporting children games are being repressed by modern ball games. Children of today play less, the games themeselves are becoming autotelic, being shifted towards hazard games. Electronic games have begun overshadowing creative thinking to a great extent.
