26 NATURA SOMOGYIENSIS The Red List of Nanocyperion like species in Dráva Plain (South Hungary) JÁNOS CSIKY & EMŐKE OLÁH Due to our investigation the Dráva Plain has been surrounded. We quested the notable part of mud vegetation-types (>125 sampled stands). New distribution of many species was detected at first for the region (e.g. Ranunculus lateriflorus, Lythrum tribracteatum, Elatine hungarica). Nanocyperion like (Isoeto-Nanojuncetea) species was selected from the flora of the investigated stands (more than 225 species) using the list of Soó (1968: F 14). In order to select the threatened species of Dráva Plain (in the scale of Hungarian flora mapping system), the whole of Nanocyperion vascular plants distribution data was reviewed (unpublished data of the authors, literature concerned with this alliance or area and herbarium of MTM Növénytár, Budapest; herbarium of Janus Pannonius Museum, Pécs; herbarium of University of Science, Pécs). According to the IUCN risk categories we found 11 CR species: Cardamine parviflora, Centunculus minus, Cyperus michelianus, Elatine hungarica, E. triandra, Eleocharis acicularis, Heleochloa alopecuroides, Marsilea qudrifolia, Montia f ontana subsp. minor, Pycreus flavescens, Ranunculus lateriflorus; 2 EN species: Hypericum humifusum, Lythrum tribracteatum; 1 VU species: Myosurus minimus; 3 NT species: Eleocharis ovata, Limosella aquatica, Schoenoplectus supinus; 6 LC species: Centaurium pulchellum, Cyperus fuscus, Elatine alsinastrum, Lindernia procumbens, Peplis portula, Potentilla supina; 2 DD species: Mentha pulegium, Pulicaria vulgaris (Table 1.) in this scale in Dráva Plain. Two species was not classified in the table: Lindernia dubia, as it is a rare but adventive species and Lythrum hyssopifolium, because it is a frequent and abundant vascular plant in Dráva Plain. 8th of them are protected species in Hungary: Elatine alsinastrum, E. hungarica, E. triandra, Lindernia procumbens, Lythrum tribracteatum, Marsilea quadrifolia, Montia fontana, Ranunculus lateriflorus. It is important to set out the critically endangered species, like Ranunculus lateriflorus, Montia fontana, Elatine hungarica, Elatine triandra, Marsilea quadrifolia and the endangered Lythrum tribracteatum from the Hungarian protected species, because their local rarity. In the fact that Lindernia procumbens and Elatine alsinastrum act on the Hungarian and IUCN Red List, they are current and numerous at the area, thus they belong to the least of all endangered species.
