SZILVIA B. CZELLER THE COLLECTIONS OF THE 30 YEAR OLD DRAVA MUSEUM SUMMARY The Drava Museum in Bares accepted its first visitors in 6th December 1979. Because Bares got its urban status in the same year, the town and its museum are thirty years old this year. This jubilee made opportunity for the author to look through the most important features of collections of this institution. The museum has historical, archeological, ethnographical and artistical collections and has a data base, a photo collection and a museological library. The almost 35.200 items of the collection cannot make it possible to analise the items one by one. The author of this article was engaged in looking through the establishement and increasment of this collection. She shows its structure, the methods of recording and also touches upon the professional work. The author in her article besides the showing of conditions wants to show the plans for the future for the museum. In the appendix she shows the list of names who worked in the museum between 1979-2009. The article becomes very colourful because of the haven't yet published photos of different objects and documents.
