coins). These latter confirm that the buried were of Catholic religion and help with the dating of the cemetery. The most remarkable finds are a piece of a fancy headdress, plated cap ornament and seven pieces of religious coins. Among these coins there are ones connected to a saint (Saint Benedict), places of pilgrimage (Mariazell, Achberg), Jesus and Mary and the cult of Our Lady of Hungary. Records available prove that the cemetery was used between the end of the 16th and 18th centuries. Those buried here must have been the population of the town at that period.
