Der morphologische Charakter entspricht ganz dem Typenmaterial der Rasse, doch sind die Maßen etwas größer. Im Karpatenbecken beschrieben wir die D. freisingensis aus der MN7/8-altrigen Fauna des Fundplatzes 2/2 von Subpiaträ (VENCZEL et al 2005). Im Felsőtárkányer Becken aus der Übergangsfauna der späten Astaracien-frühen Vallesien fehlt die D. freisingensis. Die Gattung ist aber auch aus Rudabánya bekannt (KRETZOI & FEJFAR, 2005). Eumyarion latior (SCHAUB & ZAPFE, 1953) Die Zahngrößen der Eumyarion aus Mátraszőlős sind die größten unter den Eumyarion-Populationen des Karpatenbeckens. Im mittleren Miozän kann eine Größenzuwachs der Eumyarion-Arten in Mitteleuropa beobachtet werden, doch verlief dieser Zuwachs nicht bei jedem Taxon gleichmäßig. Deshalb sind z.B. die jüngeren Eumyarion Populationen aus dem Felsőtárkányer Becken und aus Rudabánya kleiner als die aus Mátraszőlős. Fordítás: Guba Szilvia Report on the paleontological excavations, organized by the Municipal Museum of Pásztó, in 2008 By János Hír Introduction In 2008 two paleovertebrate localities, Mátraszőlős 2. and Litke 2. were intensively sampled: Mátraszőlős 2. was primary excavated in 1998. Its preliminary report was published by GÁL et al (2000). The special elaboration of the mollusc material and the rodent finds was given by HÍR & KÓKAY (2004). The working up of the Amphibian fossils was published by VENCZEL (2004, 2008) with the description of the new species Palaeobatrachus hiri, Pelobates sanchizi, Carpathotriton matraensis. In 2008 we reexcavated the locality for collecting new fossil material and two tons of samples were collected. In the „Krétabánya Valley" close to the village Litke the sampling activity hase been going on since 2005. Up to 2007 the locality Litke 1 was intensively investigated. A preliminary report of the leporid and rodent material was given by HÍR (2007) and HÍR & VENCZEL (2007). In the spring of 2008 we realized the depletion of the locality Litke 1. and an intensive test sampling was initiated in June. As a result of this activity we found the locality Litke 2. and in July one ton of sample was taken during the Paleontological Research Camp (organized by the Municipal Museum of Pásztó).
