Tanulmányok - Nemesné Matus Zsanett: Csesznek váráról. Adalékok a XIX. századi rege műfajtörténetéhez
■ARRABONA 2012. 50/1. TANULMÁNYOK ABOUT THE CASTLE OF CSESZNEK Contributions to the genre history of the 19th century rege (narrative poem) The Xántus János Museum keeps a book of poems by Bodroghy Papp István called Faragószék (Carving-board). Starting on page 219 it contains a poem under the title Cseznek vára: Egy rege (The Castle of Cseznek: A rege). Its analysis has revealed that both its form and content show strong similarities to Sándor Kisfaludy’s poem: Csobáncz, so it can be considered an imitation of another rege. It also can be suggested that Bodroghy did not brought any novelties to the history of the rege genre; his work is parallel with that of the other epigones inspired by the reges of Kisfaludy between 1818 and 1936.
