Middle acroterion of a sarcophagus cover with embossed illustrations. On the left arm of the facing woman, there is a swaddled baby lying. According to the hairstyle, clothing and style of illustration we assume, that it is a product of the workshop of Brigetio from the Severus Age, which got to the place of secondary use from a nearby cemetery of Ad Statuas to the church wall from the Arpadian Age situated in the confines of Nagyszentjános. (SZŐNYI 1983) 2. Fragments of a grave stone. The fragment, that got to the museum from the Száva street of Győr-Kisbácsa, is the perfectly fitting bottom part of the grave stone erected for Aurelius Saturnius (CIL III 13441) known from the 19th century. On the fragment mentioned here, 2 bottom lines of the inscription can be read and the lower picture can be seen on which major figures of the Roman legend were carved: the lupa capitolina and the twins. Nearest analogy of the carving showing numerous similar features with the grave stones from the Savaria area is the grave stone in Becsehely (RIU 289) bottom picture of which shows the lupa capitolina with Romulus and Remus as well. With the knowledge of the new part of the inscription the date of preparation of the grave stone can be limited to the reign of Marcus Aurelius and Caracall. 3. Fragment of a grave stone: It was collected from the bank of the Mosoni Danube from Győr-Kisbácsa as well, where the stone may have been lying on the surface for a long time. The fragment belonging to the upper part of the grave stone with tympanum is extremely worn but the illustration of the horse-rider confirms that it is a grave stone of a soldier. According to the identified stylistical marks it was dated to the 2nd century and connected to a soldier of the ala I Contariorum milliaria. 4. Fragment of a grave stone: which was excavated from the floor of a building from the Turkish age during the excavations carried out at the Széchenyi tér. On the extremely worn, broken stone below the facing male portrait a cavalry soldier shooting an arrow can be seen. Similarity to the Acrabanis stone of Győr is striking. It is the gravestone of the soldier of the ala I Ituraerorum and can be dated to the 1st century. 5. Fragment of stone with inscription, which was erected by a soldier of the ala I Contariorum C Iulius or Iunius for his wife in the 3rd century, and was reused for a late Roman burying in the cemetery close to the State Railway. 6. Fragment of a sarcophagus (?). It is from the above mentioned grave from secondary use. The bilingual inscription remained in very fragmented state gave memorial for at least three persons (father, mother, son). Apart from the biographical data, the inscription addresses its reader.
