Tanulmányok – Abhandlungen - Éry Kinga, K.: Comparative statistical studies on the physical anthropology of the Carpathian basin population between the 6–12th centuries A. D. p. 89–141.

the Felgyo population may have been mixed with people of steppe origin within the Carpathian Basin. No contemporary local analogies are known. Jászdózsa (No. Ill, subcluster 1/a, Figure 68). This population is entirely Europoid. Analogies: the 3rd century В. C. — 3rd century A. D. Late Scythian Period Nikolaevka-Kazatskoe (No. 28), and Neapol (No. 30) from the Northern Pontic region, the 6—7th century A. D. "western Germanic" Mannheim (No. 67), the Avar Period Tiszaderzs (No. 92), the Árpád Period Ábrahám (No. 103) and Cegléd (No. 106). Fig. 68: Dendrogram showing the analogies of Jászdózsa History: the Jászdózsa population may have formed somewhere within the distribution area of subcluster 1/a. One of the analogies is of particular interest. The Avar Period Tiszaderzs sample belongs to subcluster 1/b, but the close primary relationship between the two samples may indicate the continuity of the Tiszaderzs population. Kardoskút-Fehértó (No. 112; subcluster 1/a, Figure 69). This sample is entirely Europoid. Analogies: the 6—7th century A. D. "western Germanic" Mannheim (No. 67), the Avar Period Nővé Zámky (No. 84), the Árpád Period Orosháza (No. 114) and Szatymaz (No. 117). Fig. 69: Dendrogram showing the analogies of Kardoskút History: the Kardoskút population may have formed somewhere within the distribution area of subcluster 1/a. All of its analogies belong to the same subcluster. Kérpuszta (No. 113; subcluster 1/a, Figure 70). This population is entirely Europoid. Analogies: two 4—7th century Á. D. "western Germanic" samples Jura (No. 66) and the "western Franks", (No. 69), the Avar Period Szekszárd-Palánk (No. 90), and the Árpád Period Csatalja (No. 107). Fig. 70: Dendrogram showing the analogies of Kérpuszta History: the Kérpuszta population may have formed somewhere within the distribution area of subcluster 1/a. It is also possible to speculate about the continuity of the Avar Period population on the basis of the mutually primary relationship between the Kérpuszta sample and the Avar Period material from Szekszárd. In spite of the membership in the same subcluster these samples were located on the periphery of the subcluster, far from the other participants. Orosháza-Rákóczitelep (No. 114; subcluster 1/a, Figure 71). The greater part of this population is entirely Europoid, Euromongoloids make up only approximately 1 percent of the sample. Analogies: the 3rd century В. C. — 3rd century A. D. Late Scythian Period Nikolaevka-Kazatskoe (No. 28), Zolotaya Balka (No. 29) and Neapol (No. 30), from the Northern Pontic region, the two 6—7th century "western Germanic" samples from Mannheim (No. 67) and Weingarten (No. 71), the Avar Period Nővé Zámky (No. 84), the Árpád Period Cegléd (No. 106), Dolny Jatov (No. 109) and Kardoskút (No. 112). Fig. 71: Dendrogram showing the analogies of Orosháza History: the Orosháza population may have formed somewhere within the distribution area of subcluster 1/a. All of its analogies belong to this subcluster. Ptuj (No. 115; subcluster 1/a, Figure 72). This population is entirely Europoid. Analogies: the 11—12th century A. D. „Drevlyans" (No. 60), two 6—7th century A. D. "western Germanic" samples from Änderten (No. 64) and Mannheim (No. 67), the 9th century A. D. "western Slavic" Mikulöice (No. 73), and the Árpád Period Ábrahám (No. 103). Fig. 72: Dendrogram showing the analogies of Ptuj History: the Ptuj population may have formed somewhere within the distribution area of subcluster 1/a. All of its analogies are known from this territory. Rusovce (Oroszvár) (No. 116; subcluster 1/b, Figure 73). The greater part of this population is entirely Europoid. The Euro-mongoloids make up some 2 percent of the sample. Analogies: the 3rd century В. C. — 3rd century A. D. Late Scythian Period Zolotaya Balka from the Northern Pontic region (No. 29), the 3—4th century A. D. sample from Moldavia which belongs to the Chernakhovian culture (No. 33), the 9—13th century A. D. "Severyans" (No. 62), the 4—5th century Late Roman Period sample (No. 75), the Avar Period Toponár (No. 93) and Virt (No. 96), group "C" from the Period of the Hungarian Conquest (No. 101), and Székesfehérvár-Szárazrét from the Árpád Period (No. 119). Fig. 73: Dendrogram showing the analogies of Rusovce History: as far as it is shown by the membership of this group in subcluster 1/b and its analogies it may have formed in the East European decidious forest steppe belt and parkland area, in an eastern Slavic anthropological environment. Similarities with the two Avar Period samples may be the result of common East European precedings. s« 115
