The today seventy eight-year-old tale-teller - who consciously compares himself with Christian Andersen to the great Danish tale-teller - was for several decades the entertainer of the Gypsy small community of Sarkad. As an organizer (or as he liked to call himself the „main contractor, independent foreman") of seasonal works - that provided job opportunity for his fellows - he gained immense experience in the tale-telling, and during that he made use of his tale editing knowledge learned by close observation from his both teachers of Gypsy and Hungarian nationality.
