The Komlóska people call the legends story or event and tell them, usually, in Ruthene. The Ruthene linguistic influence can be felt on variaties in Hungarian, too. The legendary tradition of the two sexes differ significantly. Women preserve the traditions better, know a part of the myths better, while historical legends are popular with both sexes. There are differences between the knowledge of Hungarian language. The historical legends are still fresh among children as well. Most of the legends are known at all ages.
