Szabó Lilla: Zajti Ferenc festőművész és Medgyaszay István építész magyarságkutatásai

studying orientál architectural forms, ornamental and structural designs, to prepare the plans for the building. Medgyaszay travelled to India in 1932, visiting sevcral architectural monuments. In 1997, an exhibition entitled "Go East, Hungárián! Photographs taken by István Medgyaszay during his visit to India in 1932" was staged by the Hungárián Museum of Architecture. The photographs from Zajti's and Medgyaszay's travels in India were graciously lent for publication by the two families. They are published here for the first time. Zajti's oeuvre is unresearched for the greater part. The results of his own research and the location of the orientál documents collected by him remain unknown. Lilla Szabó 470
