400 A Janus Pannonius Múzeum Évkönyve (2015) ArchaeoLandscapes Europe 2010-2015: Contribution of the JPM Department of Archaeology in international EU project Csilla Gáti & Gábor Bertók The Archaeological Department of the Janus Pannonius Museum has participated in international projects co-fmanced by the European Union since 2005. Our involvement started with the European Landscapes - Past, Present and Future project within the framework of the EU-Culture 2000 programme (2005-2007). The international cooperation reinforced through the above mentioned project gained new momentum in 2010 with the EU-Culture 2007 program under the name ArchaeoLandscapes Europe (ArcLand). The main goal of the project is to promote the teaching and practical use of non-destructive prospection methods in archaeology. With the help of these techniques, such as remote sensing (aerial photography, lidar) and geophysics (GPR, magnetometry), in the last 9 years we could achieve several spectacular results concerning the archaeological heritage of Baranya County. We achieved major results in the research of the Late Neolithic and Early Bronze Age landscapes; the Iron Age hillfort near Pécs; and the battlefield by Mohács. During the project we also had the opportunity to organize an international workshop (Non-invasive Archaeology Training School 2013) in Pécs, and a travelling exhibition in Pécs and Budapest.
