Az elmúlt 50 év preparálás, valamint restaurálás... 235 The past 50 years of preparation and restoration pontos negatív forma készítésére volt szükség. Plasztilin szilikonkaucsuk gipszágy volt a sorrend. A kiegészítő műgyanta felvitele több rétegben, amelyet zsírban oldódó színező pasztával a kívánt színűre kevertem. Egy-egy réteg kötése 24 órát vett igénybe. Következett a nyak beállítása és az utolsó rész pótlása. Ehhez fogászati viaszból készült a forma, bekarcolva a hiány körvonalát. A teljes kiegészítés után, hántolással, csiszolással lettek megmunkálva a pótlások, így matt felület keletkezett. Hogy a kiegészítések megfeleljenek az üveg optikai sajátosságainak, polírporral a felületet felcsiszoltam. Restaurátor: Horváth Zsuzsanna 1986 Őskori edény restaurálása A kerámia töredékeket megmossuk, majd a válogató asztalon kiterítjük. Először a jellemző darabokat válogatjuk. Kiemelt figyelemmel kezeljük a díszített töredékeket, arra ügyelve, hogy az edény mely részén helyezkedhettek el. Az őskori kerámiáknál az égetés nem volt egyenletes ezért nagyon gyakori, hogy egy edény felülete különböző színű. Az edényt a lehetőség szerint a fenekétől kezdve felépítjük. A kerámia darabokat hőre lágyuló műanyaggal láng fölött ragasztjuk össze. A kiegészítést silicon caoutchouc gypsum bed. The substitute synthetic resin was applied in several layers, which I mixed with a colouring paste in a fat solution to acquire the required colour. Each layer took 24 hours to set. There followed the positioning of the neck and substitution of the final section. For this, a mould was made out of dental wax, scratching out the missing arc. After all the substitutions had been made there came the planing and polishing of the substitute parts, resulting in a matt surface. In order that the substitute pieces satisfy the special optical characteristics of the bottle, I polished the surface with a buff powder. Restorer: Zsuzsanna Horváth, 1986 Restoration of a Prehistoric Vessel The pottery fragments were washed and then placed on the sorting table. First the most easily recognisable were chosen. The ornamented fragments were given special attention in order to determine which part of the vessel they should be placed on. Prehistoric vessels were not fired evenly, and so they are frequently of different colours. Whenever possible, the vessel was assembled from the base upwards. The pieces were stuck together under a flame with plastic softened by heat.
