Természettudományok - Uherkovich, Ákos–Sára Nógrádi: The caddisfly (Trichoptera) fauna of the Szatmár–Bereg Plain, Northeast Hungary

A. UHERKOVICH & S. NÓGRÁDI: THE CADDISFLY (TRICHOPTERA) FAUNA OF THE SZATMAR-BEREG PLAIN, NE HUNGARY 57 Fig. 4. Distribution of six species in Hungary, shown on TJTM grid maps. 4. ábra. Hat faj elterjedése Magyarországon, UTM hálótérképeken bemutatva. a: Oxyethira tristella Klap., b: Stactobiella risi (Felber), c: Cyrnus trimaculatus (Curt.), d: Phryganea bipunctata Retz., e: Stenophylax meridiorientalis Mai., f: Athripsodes albifrons (L.). Stenophylax meridiorientalis Mai. is a widely distributed species of SW Hungary, predominantly in the Mecsek Mountains (Fig. 5e). It is very rare in the Northern Mountains (NÓGRÁDI, UHERKOVICH 1988b). Earlier it was unknown from the Great Hungarian Plain (UHERKOVICH, NÓGRÁDI 1990). It is very likely that this species cannot develop here and only a roaming specimen was captured. (Most probably other Stenophylax and Micropterna species also develop in other regions.) Similarly, Hydropsyche ornatula McL. is also very frequent in the southwestern part of the country, mainly along the Dráva river, but it is rather sparse and rare in the northeast.
