Dimensions: N-S = 390 cm E-E = 200 cm Walls: N = W16a/50 cm/Td5 S = W25/50 cm/Td3 E = W23/60 cm W = W16a-25a/45 cm/Td4 POINTS OF REFERENCE: 46 = 189,37 (W16a-25a level of door-sill Td4, level of brick-floor inside room U) 47 = 189,37 48 = 189,15 49 = 189,58 (W16a, level of door-sill Td5) This oblong-shaped small room, together with the adjoining room U, was by design built between the main walls W19 — W23 delimiting in the W and E the rooms in the W wing (S, V, R). The width of room X corresponded to that of the above-named rooms. Accordingly, room X was built to give access to three rooms: to room Td5 — P/l in the N, to room Td4 — U in the W and to room Td3 — R in the S. We found no traces of a door-sill leading to the E, i.e. to the section of the corridor (O) encircling the peristyle. The early-period articles could be recovered only after the removal of a 20 cm thick layer of debris (burnt roof-tiles and limy brick-bats) from the N half of the room. Coin No 41 was found lying on this layer. This 4th century layer extended to threshold Td4 leading to room U, and covered up the remnants of the pinkish plaster on the walls. ANIMAL BONES: cf. Vörös, 1987. ARTICLES: Room X (Blocks XI, XII) , N half, - 30 cm from the level of Td3 (Eside!): COIN: №41. FRAGMENT OF VESSEL.
