Jaromir Kovárnik: Az őskori ember hitvilágának tanulmányozása. A sámánizmus kutatása a régészetben

A probe into the spiritual life of prehistoric people, a reflection of shamanism in archaeology ware). The painted decoration also represented a festive dress that would emphasize exceptional mission of this figurine. This beautifully crafted female statuette also has very small holes in the ears to hang up other ornaments, earrings. Significant is its overall mysterious appearance. The exalted expression of the face modelled with anatomical detail, which looks up to the celestial vault, probably expresses communication with the heavens, dialogue with the universe. We have called the gesture „incarnation / oblation" (Kovárník 1997, 46-47, 50, 71; 2010, 94,117,118,121). It is a fundamental difference from the gesture of adoration with the upper limbs stretched out sideways and bent at the elbows (upward). It is undoubtedly a statuette designed for rituals carried out by a shaman or priestess (?). Anthropological terracottas in the ditch of the Tésetice-Kyjovice rondel Surprising in this issue is the fact of a large number of findings of fragments of anthropomorphic (and zoomorphic) statuettes in all segments of the mound of the rondel of the phase MOG la of the culture with painted ceramics near Tésetice-Kyjovice, Znojmo district. Fragments of anthropomorphic statuettes in number of 134 pieces, 1 anthropomorphic motif, 4 zoomorphic statuettes, 2 zoomorphic handles of pot-lids, and 1 zoomorphic protrusion were found in the rondel bottom. It was a total of 142 pieces. So we are asking the question of the presence of a relatively large number of fragments of anthropomorphic statuettes in the rondel in Tésetice- Kyjovice? What influenced this fact? We found out that there was a bank on the outside of the ditch. Along the inner edge of the ditch were two palisades. How did fragments of statuettes get into the infill of this ditch? What was happened in the interior of the rondel? It is evidence of manipulation with anthropological terracottas (Kovárník 2016,350-351). Fig. 12. Hluboké Masùvky, Znojmo district, south Moravia.
