A probe into the spiritual life of prehistoric people, a reflection of shamanism in archaeology or two holes. This hole is associated with making of some artefacts, employed in the production of tools and weapons (Valoch - Laznicková-Galetová 2009, 22). We should consider the physical strain of this artefact that could cause its damage (breakage).1 That art part of the tool could be damaged and degraded during this work even though it was about making very valuable artefacts. We are also considering another possible option of explaining their meaning. We are also considering another possible option of explaining their meaning. Our attention is attributed to the fact that they are often artefacts very decorated with carvings or engravings of animals, or the whole zoomorphic form (FIG. 5) with horse, deer and rope heads (Pendo Cave, Spain: Pichoan 1977, Fig. 7) and even of a man (La Garonne, France, magdalénien: Main 1957; Klíma 1963, 196, Fig. 66) at the opposite end against the handle (FIG. 6). Kicsi kerámiaedény eleje, geometrikus vésett díszítéssel. The depiction of a person in the upper Palaeolithic is very rare. This anthropomorphic representation is mainly represented by female statuettes and their parts (cf. Klíma 1963, 192-198). The descriptions of these so-called staffs of chiefs could therefore play a symbolic role due to the zoomorphic display, such as the totem animal, or, exceptionally, due to the anthropomorphic rendering of ancestor cult, for example. We assume, among other things, that these artefacts could also be used otherwise. Another important element in this part of the artefact is just one or two regular circular holes. These holes were drilled very carefully. It is possible that the object may also rotate by 45 °, 90 0 or 180 0 during its own use, for example during cautious drumming. Orientation of the holes could serve, for example, in the magic actions of shamans / healers to cast evil forces, demons and vice versa to enter good forces. In this way, the medicine mans have been able to lead the ^*****Sa*****Sa**SS****^ 69
