Levéltári Közlemények, 63. (1992)
Levéltári Közlemények, 63. (1992) 1–2. - Hermann Zsuzsanna: Miképp került Divény vára a Balassák kezére? / 61–70. o.
70 Hermann Zsuzsanna king, was copied by Werbőczi's scribes into their collection. In the style of the other documents, it is undated and the individuals mentioned therein are unnamed. The anonymous petitioner seeks to prove his innocence by recounting how Ferenc Balassa, the captain of the royal hussars and brother-in-law of Palatine Imre Perényi, was wounded in a fight that broke out between the retainers of the petitioner and of Ferenc Balassa in the vicinity of Gyarmat. The other document was copied into the formularium preserved in the Premonstratensian Library in Jászó under the title ,,Pardon for Ferenc Balassa's wounding". While Szobi's name is in neither of them, it still cannot be doubted that he (perhaps with others) was the petitioner, and that the king granted a pardon to him with the precondition that in the future he should seek „to be pleasing to Ferenc Balassa in all things, and progressively pacify him". Szobi satisfied this condition through the transfer of the Castle of Divény.
