Bonis Józsefhez, a Szövetség jogtanácsosához intézett átiratát: Az átirat keltezése: 1 982.szept. 4. t második rész ] Disclosure No. 2. (Continuation) Then I turned for assistance to you, the Legal Counsel of the AHF, and as you know, Dr. Torok sent to you on March 16, i 982 some copies of the legal documents (one without date) but not the originals, and probably not all of them. My suggestion is to contact the Donors or the Internal Revenue Service to clarify the data concerning the oil well/s. Disclosure No. 3. Contrary to requirements of paragraph 50 of the AHF Charter and the common law, Dr. Torok failed to instruct the Atlas Energy Corporation in 1977 and the following years, to write all the "production income" checks and the Quarterly Reports to the AHF indicating the AHF's Tax Exempt Identification Number. All checks from the Atlas Energy Corporation were written and sent to Dr. Torok - indicating his Social Security Number. Disclosure No. 4. Dr. Torok defrauded, at least on one occasion, a sum of $1,162.80 which belonged to the AHF (the 1980 First Quarter "production income" from William No.l. well-0521). In March 1980, Dr. Torok put the mentioned sum into his personal account. He kept the money there for 22 months: from March 1980 to January 1982. He "accidentally" (sic) discovered the "error" (sic) in December 1981 - precisely after he received my letter dated November 3, 1981 in which I requested that Dr. Torok send me the well documents. It was obvious that sooner or later I will detect the "error", so Dr. Torok sent me $ 601.05 in January 1982 (however, this was only a portion of the defrauded money), plus 12 % interest in March 1982. I would like to point out, that at the time of the defraud, Dr. Torok was the Controller of the AHF. Disclosure No. 5. Dr. Torok had the nerve to purposely deduct $ 561.75 from the defrauded money and return only $601.05 to the AHF with a gesture pretending righteousness of this action. The sum of $ 561.75 represented Dr. Torok's salary for December 1981 plus office expenses, which were not paid to him due to lack of coverage in the AHF's budget. Consequently, however, the Chairman of the Executive Board, Laszlo Pásztor, who is the supervisor of the National Secretary, fired Dr. Torok because of the defraud, and also other reasons. Since the Board of Directors, after a very short "investigation" strangely pardoned Dr. Torok inFebruary 1982, and because the Chairman of the Board of Directors surprisingly instructed me in writing to pay the retained money to Dr. Torok, I have not reported this wrongdoing to the Board of Directors. Disclosure No. 6. Dr. Torok purposely mismanaged $ 1,708.40 the 1979 Fourth Quarter "production income" from the William No.l well-0521, by depositing the sum to the account of the Pittsburgh Chapter of the AHF in January 1980. Consequently, Dr. Torok sent to the National Treasurer a check for $ 1,800.00 as the Pittsburgh Chapter contributions. He actually added $ 91.60 (the real contribution of the Pittsburgh Chapter) to the sum of $ 1,708.40 in an attempt to gain illegal votes at the National Convention of the AHF held on September 21-23, 1981 in Fairfax, Virginia. I do not know if the Pittsburgh Chapter took advantage of this financial mismanagement of the AHF funds or not. Disclosure No. 7. Dr. Torok lied to the Board of Directors and to the Ethic Committee investigating his defraud in February 20, 1982, to whom he stated that Mr. Joseph Rokop donated to the AHF the revenue of two (2) oil wells whose value each was $ 35,000.00 in 1977. The facts are as follow: There were two (2) donors - Mr.& Mrs. Joseph Rokop who donated 12 units of William No.l well-0521, and Mr.& Mrs. Geoffrey W. Hughes who donated 8 units of the same William No.l well-0521. The well was divided into 260 units, of which only 20 units or 1/13th fraction of a well was donated to the AHF. The. initial value of each unit in 1977 was only $ 500.00 or $ 10,000.00 for the 20 units; and the present estimated value is only $ 331.00 per unit, or $ 6,620.00 for 20 units. The above mentioned data are indicated in the legal documents, and in the letter sent to me by the Atlas Energy Coporation on March 2, 1982. In view of the above disclosure, it is obvious that the "investigation" of the Ethics Committee in the case of Dr. Denes Torok made on February 20, 1982 was superficial and incomplete, and therefore can not be considered as credible.
