2 gave the following answer: in his opinion Italy has no objection, in principle, to Hungary being admitted to the League of Nations, but considers that the territorial question of Western Hungary ought to be settled beforehand, and he thinks that the objections of the neighbouring countries, of which he is aware, should be heard.
