Answer to code telegram No. 8o :* Mr. Lago, the Chief of the Political Department, who according to his statement has not yet discussed the subject with the Minister, 2 gave the following answer: in his opinion Italy has no objection, in principle, to Hungary being admitted to the League of Nations, but considers that the territorial question of Western Hungary ought to be settled beforehand, and he thinks that the objections of the neighbouring countries, of which he is aware, should be heard. 3 No. 760. 5051/P0I.
