With the approval and active interest of the Gershwin fam­ily, the Gershwin Concert Or­chestra Company has been organized to present the most comprehensive program of Gershwin music the public j has ever known. Ira Gershwin, j poet to his brother's mu3ic, is j setting up the program which j will include every fascinating i rhythm of this extraordinary master's keyboard. A shining company of so­loists will join the orchestra of 25 musicians to be conducted j by Lórin Maazel, Koussevitz­­ky's last protege'. With fitting tradition, the list of soloists is headed by Gershwin's friend, the pianist Jesus Maria San­­roma', whose name is almost 1 synonymous with Gershwin's piano works. Marine Corps Reserve, Fourth District, with headquar­ters in Trenton, was activated on Friday in the presence of top offi­cials of the Corps, the Navy and Representatives of the State and Trenton governments. Mrs. Mary G. Roebling, President and Chair­man of the Board, Trenton Trust Company, Defense Advisory Committee on Women in the Services, presented the National Colors to the unit. The Colors were accepted by Major Harold Chase, left, Commanding Officer of the Battery. Shown with them are Captain Donald D. Sisson, Inspector-Instructor of the Bat­tery, and, right, Master Sergeant Roy Pruett, Sergeant Major of the outfit. Among those who attended the ceremonies were: Archibald H. Alexander, former Under Sec­retary of Army, who made the principal address; Major General Clayton B. Vogel; Lieutenant Colonel Lillian Daley, of Borden­­town; Brigadier General Joseph R. Knowlan; Major Jamee P. Hackett, of Trenton, and Lieuten­ant Commander B. M. Haskins, Inspector-Instructor, U.
