Let us give thanks to God for having not only saved our lives among the lots of tribulations of The year 1957, but for having given us inner and outer increase in tranquillity. Let all of us give thanks to Him for having saved and maintained the safety and external tranquillity of our country and the peacofulness, menaced so many times,of the peoples in the world.- Let us implore our Lord that may be He who keeps us in faith, love,,, and hope further on. -All three of them is an equal gift for us and the same time a great commandment. In the days of the coming on earth of our Lord Jesus Christ we have to look at Him with an ever more lively faith, Who had brought and is still bringing for us the remission of our sins, the peacefulness of our souls and the certain hope in the eternal life. The fruit of faith Í3 love to God, to each other and every man.. When turning to God's great love with gratitude lot us strive after an even more great and complete love» Do let us lovo God* s congregation, let us love the people whidh we have our earthly lot of and in the mean time let us love the happy future and tranquillity of the whole human progeny. The third gift is hope and its commandment. .Should encircle our lives no matter how many threatening shadows j we know well that Christians always look into the future with confidence casting hopes in God, This confident hope gives us force end enables us to be true in the work entrusted to us,- Hay God bestow a growing faith, an active love, and a living hope 011 you in the year to come.
