^UtethmVioiW^ Guided Walks GUIDED WALK AT JOSVAFO The walk leaves from the (ósvafő entrance of the Baradla Cave. During the 3-hour walk, visitors can observe the natural, the architectural and cultural environment of the village, and can learn about the traditional village structure and the tools and methods used in agriculture. The major route of the walk: entrance of the Baradla Cave - Tengerszem Pond - old village - Village Museum - water mill - steeple - Reformed Church - cemeteries - manor house - main square - Baradla Gallery - István Gereguly's bee-keeping farm - entrance of the Baradla Cave. On advanced booking (one week ahead) you can taste the dishes of the local cuisine and can participate in a traditional bread baking. Tours leave: • In high season: at 11.00 a.m. even with one participant • In low season: on advanced booking (at least 3 days ahead) between 9.00 a.m. and 1.00 p.m. (with the purchase of at least 5 adult tickets) Ticket price: 500 HUF/person ECOTOURS IN THE AGGTELEK NATIONAL PARK These tours of various length take place in and around the villages of Aggtelek and Jósvafő. The purpose of these tours is to acquaint our visitors with the geological, botanical, and zoological values (typical plant associations, and habitats), with the traditional land use, and the traditional way of agriculture, with sites of industrial and cultural history, and with the handicrafts and customs of this region.
