ZOOLOGICAL AND BOTANICAL TOURS IN THE AGGTELEK NATIONAL PARK: These special tours of various length are guided by our experts. Participants can learn about the zoological or the botanical values of the Karst. Ticket price: 3-hour tour: 2,000 HUF/person, 4-hour tour: 2,500 HUF/person, 5-hour tour: 3,000 HUF/person, 6-hour tour: 3,500 HUF/person Tours leave on advanced booking (at least one week ahead) between 9.00 a.m. and 1.00 p.m. (with the purchase of at least 5 adult tickets). DISCOUNT Visitors with IS1C ID card are given a 50 percent discount. Admission is free for the disabled and children under 6. GENERAL LECTURES One-hour general lectures are given on the values and curiosities of the Aggtelek National Park. Advanced booking is necessary booking (at least one week ahead): lectures are between 9.00 a.m. and 1.00 p.m. Fee: 6,000 HUF/group EDUCATIONAL TRAILS IN THE AGGTELEK NATIONAL PARK Baradla Trail (Aggtelek-Jósvafő) - yellow tagging The most visited educational trail of the national park was established in 1983. The 7.5-kilometres long trail connects the cave entrances of Aggtelek and Jósvafő. It passes open and covered karst areas, while visitors can acquaint with the natural and partly the cultural values of the region. 18 boards inform visitors on the sights. The tour takes about 3 hours. Tohonya-Kuriszlán Trail (Jósvafő) - yellow tagging The trail was established on the 10th anniversary of the national park in 1995. This 9-kilometre long trail is recommended for visitors interested primarily in geology. 25 boards guide visitors on the trail. The tour takes about 5-6 hours. Both trails can be visited individually. DISCOUNT Visitors with international student ID card are given a 50 percent discount. Admission is free for the disabled and children under 6.
