HOLIDAY IN SÁSTÓ (8 days for min. 2 people) A week relaxation in the Mátra Mountains in a camp-site situated on the side of a romantic mountain lake. The small islands of the lake are connected by a bridge which leads to the 45m high look-out tower. From there you can admire the view of the picturesque mountains and the Al­leges hiding among them. There is also possibility for angling. Suggested excursions — Tours by car or on foot in the surroundings — Sightseeing in Gyöngyös or in Eger- Visiting the village-museum in Hollókő (Part of the Heritage)- Wine tasting in Farkasmály Accomodation: In bungalows in double rooms or ind ouble motel rooms in the camp-site (extra bed can be arranged on request) Supply: half board in the restaurant of the camping Dates: 15 April-15 October Participation fee: bungalow 242 DM/p erson 123 DM/person for children motel room 171 DM/person 1 23 DM/person or children __________________J P EASANT ' WEDDING IN MIKÓFALVA (Starting form Eger at 6 p. m. with guide) The program takes place in a village peasant house. It is organized on old Hungarian wedding tradition. The folk ensemble represents some generations and gives a fore­taste of Hungarian folklore without stage. Guest are active members of the wedding party, begining from the asking for the bridge till bride dance. Dinner: — aperitif — hen soup with pasta — hen with horse radish — stuffed cabbage — stuffed and rolled up cotlet with potatoes — cake — 5 del different wine, mineral water During the dinner the members of the ensemble are sin­ging dancing and serving the meals. After it you can jump over the fire, if you want to be kucky! The program will be finished at 11 p.m. Participation fee: 50 DM ______________________________________________/ Vintage IN AGRIA (For min. 30 people) One day programme, which shows some of the customs of this region connected with the vintage in the 18th century. The guests are active participants of the event. The group arrives in the early morning hours by its own ve­hicle. Our guide waits for them at the Eger Hotel and they go toget­her to the Szépasszony-völgy („Valley of the Beautiful Wo­man ", a valley plenty of wine cellars). Young girls wearing traditional dresses wish welcome to the guests and offer them some brandy The leader of the com­munity of wine-growers drums together the guests and dec­lares the vintage open. Meanwhile on of the farmers, who dared to begin the vintage before this declaration, is beeing arrested and punished: by doing so, he deserved 25 whacks with a cane. Then, the leader of the community of wine- growers invites the guests to take part in the vintage in a vineyard nearby. By the time they arrive at there, the work is already going on: Men and women wearing traditional dresses can be seen working in the vineyard. The guests join them. The wreath of grapes (which is the symbol of the end of the vintage) is given to the leader in the vineyard. This action is followed by dance. During their stay in the guests contino- usly. The leader invites the guests in a cellar to taste the freshly pressed must as well. There in the cellar, the guests can learn about the ways of working the grapes and can get aquinted with the instruments used for that. They can listen to the short history of wine-producing in Eger. Lunch will be in the open air: brandy, „vintage goulash", strudel or dough­nut, red and white wines, soft drinks, coffee. While the guests have their lunch, the leader of the commu­nity of wine-growers and the dancers and the musicians con­tinue their performance. The programme comes to an end a merry vintage-ball. (In case of rain only that part of the programme will be can- selled which would be in the open air. Lunch will be served in a cellar.)'There is the opportunity for going on a sightseein whit our guide before departure: historic down town, fortress, church of the Minorites, organ concert in the Basilica. After taking part in this, dinner in a wine cellar or in a restaurant with wine tasting and gypsy music.
