In these times of great and rapid change, small nations must unité and keep watch over each other, as it is only by using the experiences of one another that we will obtain results. We feel that we are nőt alone and we wish the Hungárián nation much happiness, fortitude and patience so that it will realise its aims. The Estonian National Front Dear Friends! The 1848 anniversary is nőt only precious to you, it is a symbol that our am- bitions of freedom, democracy and independence are shared. That is why we formed the "Polish-Hungarian Solidarity" organisation on February 18th 1989. We want East-Central Surope to become part of the civilized world, where govemments accord with the will of society and where good-willed nations live in friendship. We sincerely believe that we can realise our aims with our common efforts. Polish-Hungarian Solidarity's Polish spokesmen: Wojciech Maziarski Andrzej Czamsiak Warsaw Wroclaw The Ukrainian National Democratic Union and its paper Szamosztinik greets the Hungárián nation on the anniversary of the birth of Hungárián freedom. Our nations have conflicted in the pást bút the Union realises that we must rise above the discord of the pást through mutual agreement and understanding in the interest of our common aims. The Communist Party in the Ukraine and in Hungary are equally incapable of solving the difficult problems the society faces. The Union endeavours to pút an end to the absolute power of the present govemment, which is in the hands of a small group, and to establish a multi-party system on the basis of a new deraocratic constitution. The developments in Hungary fill us with hope. In Kiev we share the same objectives fór which you are striving in Budapest.
