They gathered in the Jurta Theatre to call upon Hungárián statesmen who lay stress on dialogue and consensus to state their intentions honestly and with clarity. János Vénusz, a miner, was seriously húrt and is still in hospital and Gábor Bouquet who is a worker alsó had to récéivé medical treatment yesterday. During the protest the police arrested at least six people among them László' Miklósi, Géza Dely, Zsigmond Ritoók and Jo'zsef Szerletics who issued a declaration this evening. They said that the Hungárián mass média had printed false figurás about the number of those arrested and the time of their release and that even the relations of those taken intő custody were given false information by the police. The declaration says "In view of this misinformation two things can be inferred: th* poliee are either completely disorganised or they deliberately gave false information. We partiéularly protest at the illegal and brutal behaviour of the police towards the protesters, at the despotic restriction of our freedom rights and at our unjustified árrést. We cannot understand it as we committed no crime”.
