The Young Democrats Alliance and the Network fór Free Initiatives will assemble at Gellert Square at 9.30 am, the Bajcsy- Zsilinszky Friendship Society and the Hungárián Democratic Fórum at Clark káén Square at 10 am and the Historical Jurisdiction Committee at 10.4-5 at Batthyány Square from where they will all go together to the Bem statue. At 11 am the organisers will lay wreaths on the pedestal of the statue and after singing the Hungárián Hymn the participants will lay flowers beside the wreaths. The announcement asks those who jóin the demonstration to pin on national colours bút nőt to bring banners as the aim of the action is to "commemorate and to make others commemorate with a silent dignified march". The organisers of the demonstration submitted a request to the police asking fór permissión to hold the commemoration. Members of the Nográd County Young Democrats Alliance Workers Group organised a "commemoration run" on the anniversary of the revolution, it would have followed the October 23rd 1956 protest route from the Petőfi statue across the Margit Bridge to Bem Square and from there to Parliament.
