A leköszönő törvényhatóság egyik tagja szintén elismerően szólt a tisztikar munkájáról.33

Lazárult tehát egy több mint 40 évig tartó korszak a vármegye életében, s az új törvény alapján megválasztott törvényhatósági bizottság 1929. november 20-án megalakult.

The period between 1925 and 1929 is characterized by relative stability and smaller political Stroms. On the basis of right to present memorials the municipal board of Hajdú county expressed its opinion concerning the franchise act, the Beniczky-affair and the franc forgery scandal taking sides with the government. It took part in the movement for revision of the Peace Treaty in Trianon. It defended the right of self-government. It took part in the opening debates concerning the reform of public administration, but it did not express its opinion of the final bill. The Statue No. 30 in 1929 closed a longer than 40 year period in the life of the county.
