Развитие монополистического капитализма формировалось на основе противоречий в первой половине XX столетия, сменив эпохи расцвета и кризиса. Развитие крупной промышленности и ряда мелкой промышленности имело большое значение, особенно в затисском крае. Палата неоднократно занималась развитием и государственной поддержкой мелкой промышленности, в дальнейшем в годы войны занималась сохранением промышленного производства, занятием провинциальных ремесленников. Палата подавала голос также и в защиту интересов провинциальной промышленности. Она требовала законной регулировки деятельности картелей.

О позиции, занимаемой в делах разгрузочных рынков страны, о спорном их значении, о нескольких вопросах в дальнейшем социалполитика также выражает своё мнение.

The monopoly capitalistic development has taken a contradictory turn in the second half of the 20th century, periods of booms and crises alternated with each other. Besides the development of the wholesale industry, the small-scale industry also kept its importance, especially on the territory east of the river Tisza. The Chamber was concerned several times with the development of the small- scale industry and its aid by the state. During years of the World War it tried to maintain the industrial production involving the tradesman lived in the country. The Chamber gave voice to protect interests of the provincial trade. It wanted to limit activity of the cartels by the law. He took a stand on the matter of the nation-wide open markets, discussing their significance and gave its opinion in some questions of social politics.
