Fucini's specimen (1895, pl.7, fig.20) seems to be misidentified as the beak ridges are absent and the width is greater than the length. De Gregorio (1930) described Terebratulapropesecuriformis as a new species but, judged from his figure, his specimen can be put in synonymy with S. partschi.
