Material: 3 incomplete specimens. Dimensions (mm): Specimen M.91.24. (Text-fig. 25) length: 8.0, width: 8.4, thickness: 6.0. Description - External characters: Small shell, subtriangular in outline. The sides of triangle are quite convex, the base is straight. The angle between the lateral margins is about 120°. The width is greater than the length while the thickness is three-quarters of the length. Biconvex form, the pedicle valve is significantly more convex than the brachial one. The maximum Text-fig. 25 - Drawing of width is situated at the anterior margin, the maximum Linguithyris aspasia convexity is at half of the length. There are two weak beak ridges on the pedicle valve running to half of the length. The anterior margin is sulcate. The sulcus is deep, its height is 4/5 of the total thickness while its width is half of the total width. The sulcus develops at one-third of the length on the brachial valve. It is U-shaped in cross-section at the anterior margin.
