Stratigraphie range; G. trinidadensis was-first described by BOLLI (1957) from the lower part of the Paleocene in the lower Lizard Springs formation of Trinidad. BOLLI & CITA (i960) recorded this species from the Danian of the Paderno d'Adda section of northern Italy. EL NAGGAR (I966) described and illustrated G. trinidadensis from the Danian to the lower part of the middle Paleocene " G. angulata zone" in the Esna - Idfu region. Globorotalia uncinata BOLLI (pl. Description ; Test small, low trochospiral, spiral side nearly flat, umbilical side strongly convex. Equatorial periphery dis­tinctly lobate, axial periphery subrounded. Chambers arranged in 2 « whorls. The last whorl is composed of 6 subangular, in­flated chambers, increasing moderatly in size. Wall calcareous perforate ,surface finely spinose. Sutures distinctly depressed, on the dorsal side strongly curved, on the ventral side nearly radial. Umbilicus open, moderatly deep. Aperture a narrow arch, interiomarginal , extraumbilical - umbilical. Diameter: 0,33 mm Occurrence : This species occurs abundantly at the top of the G^
