Chambers. Wall calcareous, coarsly perforate, surface spinose, especially on the umbilicus side. Sutures on the dorsal side slightly depressed, strongly curved; on the umbilical side ra­dial strongly incised.Umbilicus wide and deep. Aperture a broad arch interiomarginal , extraumbilical - umbilical. Diameter: 0,4- mm Occurrence : Some specimens of this species occur in G .angulata / G. pusilla pusilla zone in Taramsa section. Stratigraphie range: G. apenthesma was first described by LOEB­LICH & TAPPAN (1957) from the upper Landenian (Sparnacian) of the Vicentown formation in New Jersey, the Salt Mountain lime­stone of Alabama, and the Aquia formation of Maryland and Vir­ginia. It was recorded also by OLSSON (i960) from the Paleocene of the Horherstown formation of New Jersey. EL NAGGAR (1966) described this species from the upper Paleoce­ne ( G. velascoensis zone ) of the Esna - Idfu region, Nile Val­ley, Egypt. Globorotalia broedermanni CUSHMAN & BERMUDEZ (pl.
