Chambers. Wall calcareous, coarsly perforate, surface spinose, especially on the umbilicus side. Sutures on the dorsal side slightly depressed, strongly curved; on the umbilical side radial strongly incised.Umbilicus wide and deep. Aperture a broad arch interiomarginal , extraumbilical - umbilical. Diameter: 0,4- mm Occurrence : Some specimens of this species occur in G .angulata / G. pusilla pusilla zone in Taramsa section. Stratigraphie range: G. apenthesma was first described by LOEBLICH & TAPPAN (1957) from the upper Landenian (Sparnacian) of the Vicentown formation in New Jersey, the Salt Mountain limestone of Alabama, and the Aquia formation of Maryland and Virginia. It was recorded also by OLSSON (i960) from the Paleocene of the Horherstown formation of New Jersey. EL NAGGAR (1966) described this species from the upper Paleocene ( G. velascoensis zone ) of the Esna - Idfu region, Nile Valley, Egypt. Globorotalia broedermanni CUSHMAN & BERMUDEZ (pl.
