Description : Test small,low trochospiral , compressed, biconvex, composed of 2 ^ whorls. Equatorial periphery, circular, faintly lobulate; axial periphery subangular-rounded. Chambers, on the dorsal side about 12 arranged in 2 ^ whorls. The last whorl is composed of 6, slightly inflated chambers, increasing slowly in size. Wall calcareous, perforate, surface spinose. Sutures depressed, distinctly curved on the spiral side, nearly radial on the umbilical side. Umbilicus large, open. Aperture a narrow arch, interiomarginal , exterioumbilical-umbilical , covered with a lip . Diameter: 0,22 mm Occurrence : This species occurs in G. angulata / G. pusilla pu silla zone in Taramsa section. Stratigraphie range: G. broedermanni was first described by CUSHMAN & BERMUDEZ from the lower Eocene of the Capdevile formation of Cuba. BOLLI (195V) recorded this species from the G. rex zone, lower Eocene of the Lizard Springs formation and continue into the Navet formation, in Trinidad. SAID & SABRY (1964) found this species in the upper level of the G. velascoensis zone and in the G. rex zone of Gebel Aweina section, Nile Valley, Egypt. Globorotalia compressa (PLUMMER) (pl.
