2 2" whorls, the initial ones are small, the final whorls is composed of 4 globular, inflated chambers, which increase ra­pidly in size except the last chambers which is slightly smal­ler than the penultimate. Wall calcareous, finely perforate, surface cacellate. Sutures depressed, radial on both the dorsal and the ventral sides. Umbilicus very narrow. Aperture interio­marginal umbilical. Diameter: 0,27 mm Occurrence : This species commenly occurs in the Globigerina e- dita / Globigerina trinidadensis zone, sample no. 9 in the Ta­ramsa section. Stratigraphie range: G. quadrata was first described by WHITE (1928) from the middle and upper part of Mendez formation, up­per Cretaceous, Tampico embayment , Mexico. BOLLI (1957) found this species in the G. uncinata and G. pseu­ domenardii zone from the lower Lizard Springs formation in Tri­nidad. NAKKADY (1959) recorded this species from the Maestrichtian Da­nian and Montian of Kharga Oasis, Egypt. SAID & SABRY (1964) identified this species from the Danian samples of Gebel Aweina section, Nile Valley, Egypt. Globigerina spiralis BOLLI (pl. Ill, fig. 2, pl.
