Chambers of nearly equal size. Wall calcareous, finely perfora­te. Sutures distincly depressed, horizontal. Aperture a high arch with a narrow lip at one side. Length: 0,28 mm Occurrence : This species occurs frequently in the G. pseudome­ nardii zone (Sample 6) in the Taramsa section. Stratigraphie range: This species was described from the Danian of Denmark and from the Paleocene of the Gulf and Atlantic Coastal Plain (LOEBLICH & TAPPAN 1957). Remarks : This species is distinguished from Ch i 1 ogue mb e 1in a midwayensis midwayensis (CUSHMANJ by the narrow, elongate test and more globular chambers and more incised sutures. Su­tures distinct ,slightly depressed, horizontal. Wall calcareous, finely perforate, surface smooth. Aperture terminal, rounded at the end of a distinct neck, with a distinct lip.
