O. Merkl szerk.: Folia Entomologica Hungarica 69. (Budapest, 2008)

Diagnosis - Length female 2.50-2.60-2.75, male 2.50-2.63-2.72; width of head female 0.98-2.02-1.04, male l.OO-i.02-1.05. Hemielytra with a variable dark brown to blackish mark along costal area which tends to cover a part to most of the apical transverse pale yellow band distally on corium (Fig. 16). Transverse yellow band distally on corium often divided in two parts by a narrow longitudinal brown stripe. Pala with 27-30 bristles in lower and 22-23 in upper row of palm. Comparative notes - Typical specimens of these species can be easily separated on base of the colour patterns (Figs 15-16). Unfortunately the pattern of T. schreiben is very variable and some, especially teneral, specimens look very similar to specimens of T. fasciata. The light transverse patch posteriorly on the corium T. schreiberi often has in a longitudinal dark stripe dividing it into two parts, whereas in T. fasciata such a dividing stripe is lacking. Figs 15-16. Tenagobia (Fasciagobia) spp., dorsal view, legs omitted: 15 = T. fasciata NlESER, 1977, length 2.78 mm, 16 = T. schreiberi ESPÍNOLA, 1975, length 2.55 mm
