Specimens of T. schreiberi with the transverse pale yellow mark not covered have also the costal area proximally of the transverse mark pale, whereas in T. fasciata the costal area proximally of the pale transverse mark is dark. Structurally the species are nearly identical. On average T. fasciata is slightly larger than T. schreiberi, although there is considerable overlap in body length, but the width of head is fairly diagnostic (see diagnoses). The number of bristles in the lower row of the pala is 32-34 in T. fasciata and 27-30 in T. schreiberi. The parameres of males and the receptaculi seminis of females are virtually identical. * Acknowledgements - For what we have learned from the museum staff members of the Hungarian Natural History Museum, and the warm hospitality during our short, fruitful, and surely very pleasant stay in Budapest, we sincerely thank: ANDRÁS OROSZ, DÁVID RJÉDEI and his wife MARIANNA SZERENCSI, LÁSZLÓ PEREGOVITS, ORSOLYA MOLNÁR and her mother, and the deputy director of the Museum, Dr. TAMÁS VÁSÁRHELYI.
