Coniopteryx virgina group -Species included: C. virgina MEINANDER, 1990. - Main distinctive features: paramere subapically with a long dorsal projection; median incision of hypandrium small, U-shaped. - Distribution: Virgin Islands. Coniopteryx zulu group - Species included: C. zulu TJEDER, 1957 - Main distinctive features: paramere subapically with a long dorsal projection; median incision of hypandrium very large, V-shaped. - Distribution: Southern Africa. Semidalis ENDERLEIN, 1905 This is a large genus which is absent only from the Australian and Oceanian Regions. In the present work 67 of the total 69 species are divided into 16 species groups on the basis of the features of male genitalia. Two other species are insufficiently known, so not included in these groups. Two of the 16 groups (S. decipiens and S. kolbei groups) were included in grouping of MEINANDER 1972. Semidalis africana group - Species included: S. africana ENDERLEIN, 1906, S. deemingi MEINANDER, 1975. - Main distinctive features: near to a caudal hook there is a separated long, dorsal tooth in the wide distal part of paramere. - Distribution: Afrotropical Region. Thus S. intermedia would be a junior synonym of S. rondoniensis. However, the difference between the parameres of the depicted specimens and of the two above mentioned species, according to the figures in
