Types are deposited in the collection of the Zoological Institue of the Lund University. The new species is very similar to Nesoselandria albicornis (Forsius, 1929). Nesoselandria albicornis (Forsius, 1929) has lst-2nd antennái segments and basal half of 3rd segment brown, apical half of 3rd, and 4th-6th segments white, 7th-9th segments black. Abdominal sternites, except the last one, legs and tegulae entirely white. The new species has antennae entirely dark brown. Abdominal sternites like tergites and tegulae brown. Legs brown and white as described above. The other related species is Nesoselandria rufiventris Rohwer, 1915. N rufiventris Rohwer, 1915 has black thorax, fulvous abdomen and legs while the new species has brown thorax, light brown abdomen and legs richly coloured with white.
