Nematus mongoloflavus sp. n. (Fig. 6) Head black; yellow: front margin of clypeus, labrum, base of mandibles and palpi; brown: 1-1 spot on the temples and a suffusion on the postocellar area. Antennae entirely black. Thorax brown; yellow: tegulae, hind comer of pronotum; black: 3 mesonotal band, mesoscutellum - but not the appendage -, postscutellum, two spots above cenchri and mesosternum. Legs yellow, hind tarsi and the apical quarter of hind tibiae brownish black. Wings hyaline, dark brown: stigma, subcosta and venation; costa yellow. Abdomen, including the first tergite (propodeum) entirely yellow, apical part of sawsheath black. Cenchri white. Head shining with very fine and shallow surface sculpture. Head broadly widened behind the eyes. Frontal field sharply carinated. Supraantennal pit deep. Clypeus slightly emarginated about up to 1/3 of its median length. OOL:POL:OCL = 15:20:12. Ratios of the antennái segments = 4:2:27:31:31:25:22:21:22. Ratios of the hind tarsal segments = 6:3:2:1:3. Mesonotum shining with very finely, minutely and densely punctured. Mesoscutellum and mesoscutellar appendage, postscutellum and mesopleuron smooth and shining. Cenchri somehow bean-shaped. Claws bifid. Length of inner hind tibial spur : length of hind basitarsus : maximal width of hind tibia = 1:2:1. Length of the 3rd antennái segment : maximal length of eye = 27:37. Genal length : diameter of the front ocellus = 1:1. Length of the ovipositor : length of the hind femur : length of basal 2 tarsal segments of the hind tarsus = 65:64:45. Hind tibiae apically widened with longitudinal groove on their inner surface. Length of stigma : maximal width of stigma = 46:22. Abdominal tergites with very fine surface sculpture, shining. Head and thorax covered with sparse whitish pubescence about 1/3 times as long as the diameter of the front ocellus. Sawheath blunt and slightly dilated in dorsal view (Fig. 6). Length: 5.5 mm. Length of fore wing: 5.5 mm. Holotype: female: "Mongolia: Central aimak, 11 km OSO von Somon Bajanzogt, 1600 m, Exp. Dr. Z. Kaszab, 1968, Nr. 945, 15. VI. - 26.VII.1968". This species has a very special position in the genus Nematus Panzer, 1801. The narrow apex of costa, the long bifid claws, the long palpi, and long inner hind tibial spur define this species as a member of Nematus. However, the clearly and strongly widened head, the widened hind tibiae, the special shape of the cenchri irregular bean - and the wide blunt sheath (Fig. 6) differ this species from all members of this genus.
