Nematus brunneomontanus sp. n. (Fig. 4) Head and thorax entirely ochraceous (brownish orange), a small spot black only between ocelli. Antennae entirely black only scapus ochraceous. A horizontal brown band separate the mesopleuron from the mesostemum. Legs ochraceous. Abdomen ochraceous; black: first tergite, mainly the 2nd tergite, a median pair of small spots in the middle of the 3rd tergite. Apex of the sawsheath dorsally black. Wings hyaline, costa, subcosta, stigma and venation black. Head and thorax very finely and shallowly punctured, shining. OOL:POL:OCL = 21:19:20. Ratios of the antennái segments: 9:5:37:45:38:34:34:33:33. Length of the 3rd antennái segment : longest axis of eye = 37:43. Genal length : diameter of the front ocellus =1:1. Head subparalell behind the eyes without hind carina. Frontal field sharply carinated. Clypeus broadly emarginated about half as deep as the clypeal median length. Mesopleuron smooth and shining. Ratios of the hind tarsal segments = 45:19:14:6:17. Length of the hind basitarsus : length of the inner hind tibial spur : maximal width of hind tibia = 3:1:1. Length of the 2 basal hind tarsal segments : length of the ovipositor = 12:19. Claws bifid, the inner tooth slightly shorter than the apical. Length of the stigma : width of the stigma = 65:22. Head and thorax covered with sparse whitish pubescence about 1/3-1/2 times as long as the diameter of the front ocellus. Abdominal tergites with fine surface sculpture, moderately shining. Sawsheath triangularly narrowed and rounded apically (Fig. 4). Cerci shorter than sawsheath. Length: 7.4-8.2 mm. Length of the fore wing: 6.3-7.5 mm. Holotype: female: "Mongolia: Central aimak, 150 km ONO v. Öndörchaan, 10 km S von Kerulen, 1000 m, Exp. Dr. Z. Kaszab, 1965, Nr. 331, 30.VII.1965". Paratype: female: labelled as the holotype. The paratype is similar to the holotype, but the mesosternal-mesopleural band missing, mesosternum with brown shadow. Second and third coxae and trochanters brownish black. The new species belongs to the N.ferrugineus group. Its closest relative is Nematus brunneus (Lindqvist, 1971). N. brunneus (Lindqvist, 1971) has only the first tergite with large black spot and its sawsheath nearly parallel and bluntly rounded, as long as wide. The new species has more extended black marks (see the description above), its sawsheath triangularly narrowed and only the narrow apex rounded. This character differs it the typical sawsheath structure of the ferrugineous group, compare Figs 4, 5.
