Smithsonian Institute, Washington Zoological Museum of the Moscow State University Most of the genitalia figures are published in Haris 2000. They are not repeated here. Now, I only refer to these figures. The North-American species are discussed by Goulet (1986) and the Turkish species by Benson (1968). I add 2 new species to their fauna: Dolerus osmanicus sp. n. captured in Turkey and Dolerus rubromaculatus sp. n. in the United States collected by Mocsáry in the last century. DESCRIPTION OF THE NEW SPECIES Dolerus honshuensis sp. n. Entirely black, shining without any metallic luster. Cenchri brownish white. Wings hyaline. Stigma and venation black. Head shining, densely and roughly punctured without shining interspaces. Ratios of the antennái segments = 21:14:59:63:51:47:46:46:45. OOL:POL:OCL = 25:16:23. Clypeus deeply emarginated up to 2/3 of its median length. Head with hind carina and moderately contracted behind the eyes to the middle line of the eyes. Mesonotum densely and moderately roughly punctured. Inner corners of the lateral lobes of mesonotum with large shining unpuncrured areas. Pronotum very densely, uniformly and moderately roughly punctured without shining interspaces. Mesopleuron densely, uniformly and roughly punctured. Mesosternum shining with sporadic larger and smaller punctures. Ratios of the hind tarsal joints = (basitarsus) 47:28:22:13:25 (without claws). Inner hind tibial spur:basitarsus = 21:47. Length of a cenchrus:distance between cenchri = 17:24. Body moderately densely covered with whitish pubescence about as long as the diameter of front ocellus. First abdominal tergite with fine irregular surface sculpture, 2-8 tergites with fine transverse sculpture. Longer sides of penis valve subparallel. The lower edge of the valve straight, not concave with 2 small dorso-ventral thorns (Fig. 3). Length: 9.0 mm, length of fore wing: 8.0 mm. Holotype — Male: Japan: Honshu, Kamiange, Mt. Jinba, Tokyo, 29.04.1998, A. Shinohara. Paratypes — Two males: Japan: Hokkaido, Ukishima-toge, ca. 8 km SE of Mt. Teshiodake, Kamikawa, 19.06.1996, A. Shinohara; 1 male: Japan: Hokkaido, Makayama-toge, 800 m, Shiribeshi, 20.06.1997, A. Shinohara; 3 males: Japan: Hokkaido, Yamada-onsen, 800 m, Tokachi, 20-21.06.1996, A. Shinohara; 1 male: Japan: Honshu, Ouchi, Bato, Tochigi Pref, 04-06.05.1996, A. Ta, N. and To. Shinohara; 1 male: Omi, Ohara, Sakyo-ku, Kyoto, Kyoto Pref, May 18-19. 1984, T. Matsumoto leg.; 2 males: Shinoyabe, Kumamoto, Japan, Apr. 15. 1926, coll. K. Sato; 1 male: Kami-Namarikawa, Yakumo, Hokkaido, 12.06.1984, A. Shinohara; 2 males: Shiratsuka-rindo, Mt. Fujisan, Shizuoka Pref, 22.06.1980, A. Shinohara. The holotype and the paratypes are deposited in the National Science Museum, Tokyo. One paratype is deposited in the Hungarian Natural History Museum, Budapest. The new species runs to the Spanish species Dolerus salmanticensis Vigil, 1988 (Haris 2000). The new species differs from D. salmanticensis by its penis valve. Penis valve of Dolerus salmanticensis see in Haris 2000.
