Description of 1st instar larva — Mounted specimen (Fig. 4): 0.33 mm long, 0.18 mm wide. Antennae 3-segmented, 1st segment 24 pm, 2nd segment 22 pm, with a sensory pore, apical segment 34 pm long, with setose setae on all segments, apical segment, with two sensory, and three clavate setae, apical seta 58 pm long. Venter: Legs: 1st - coxa 22 pm long, trochanter-femur fused, 50, tibia-tarsus, divided, 54 pm long, claw 17, claw digitules hair-like, 2nd - coxa 22 pm long, trochanterfemur 53, tibia-tarsus 55, claw 17, claw digitules hair-like, 3rd - coxa 24 pm long, trochanter-femur 58, tibia-tarsus 55 pm long, claw 17pm long, claw digitules hair-like. Legs covered with hair-, spine-like, and fimbriate setae, with clavate sensory setae near the tibial sensorium on all legs; trochanter with two sensory pores on each surface. Thoracic spiracles (which should be on the venter) situated on the dorsum. Fimbriate setae, broad clavate setae, and some hairlike setae scattered in medial areas of thorax and abdomen. Bilocular pores scattered. First two abdominal spiracles absent. Dorsum: Two broad fimbriate setae are at the margin of each segment and one pair in the mid-dorsum of the thorax.
