Description of 2nd instar larva — Mounted specimen (Fig. 5): 0.51 mm long, 0.31 mm wide. Antennae 3-segmented, 1st segment 22 pm, 2nd segment 24 pm, with a sen­sory pore, apical segment 46 pm long, with fimbriate setae on all segments, apical seg­ment, with two sensory and two clavate setae, apical seta 62 pm long. Venter: Legs: 1st - coxa 24 pm long, trochanter-femur fused, 65, tibia-tarsus, divid­ed, 61 pm long, claw 17, claw digitules hair-like, 2nd - coxa 26 pm long, trochanter­femur 65, tibia-tarsus 64, claw 17, claw digitules hair-like, 3rd - coxa 31 pm long, trochanter-femur 70, tibia-tarsus 72 pm long, claw 17 pm long, claw digitules hair-like. Legs covered with hair-, spine-like, and fimbriate setae, with clavate sensory setae near the tibial sensorium on all legs; trochanter with two sensory pores on each surface. Thoracic spiracles (which should be on the venter) situated on the dorsum, Fimbriate setae, broad clavate setae scattered in medial areas of thorax and abdomen. Bilocular pores scattered. First two abdominal spiracles also present, situated on the dorsum.
