ROVARTANI KÖZLEMÉNYEK LIX 1998 pp. 209-211 Supplement to the revision of Cleptes (Leiocleptes) of the world (Hymenoptera: Chrysididae, Cleptinae) L. Móczár Supplement to the revision of Cleptes (Leiocleptes) of the world (Hymenoptera: Chrysididae, Cleptinae) - Corrections and synonym of some Cleptes (Leiocleptes) species ( C. caucasicus Semenov, 1920, femoralis Mocsáry, 1890, scutellaris günensis Linesenmaier, 1987, semiatrus Linsenmaier, 1968) are established. New taxonomic, distribution data and information are presented concerning variability. Key words: Hymenoptera, Cleptes (Leiocleptes), taxonomy, corrections, synonymy and variability. INTRODUCTION After publishing the revision of the world species of the subgenus Leiocleptes Móczár (1997a, 19976) W. Linsenmaier kindly sent me several types and some unidentified specimens. The compilation of the key of Linsemaier's new species was not always successful on the ground of the original diagnosis only. In some cases it is necessary to make addenda and correction regarding the above-listed papers. The remarks concerning the variability of some species will certainly facilitate the recognition of a number of species. Consequently, it will be inevitable to establish new synonymy. Cleptes caucasicus Semenov, 1920 is identical with C. splendidus (Fabricius, 1794). The knowledge of the distribution of yet less known species, as well as the spreading data of some species are on the increase. CORRECTIONS The following correction should be made to my previous publication (Móczár 1997a, p. 34 etc.). Page 34. Cleptes caucasicus Semenov, 1920. - Specimen examined: „4 9. Turkey: Tk-südl.
